Over the past few years, we've had hefty stacks of the Kali Audio LP, and of course sent it to our customers. It turned out to be a popular studio monitor that performed better than its price suggested. Studio monitors tend to be pricey, so it doesn't hurt to study carefully which brands are worth investing in before you buy. If a studio monitor is pricey, then they are easily good - after all, with enough money, anything goes. However, the trick is to make a good studio monitor, especially in the budget segment, and Kali Audio has mastered that art excellently. Once again, this is the case with the Kali Audio LP-6 V2, the 'Second Wave', as the manufacturer also calls this product. A new version of the 'Lone Pine', but with solid improvements, for even better results!

Features of the Kali Audio LP-6 V2

With the combination of a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter, you get a frequency response of 47 Hz - 21 kHz (+/- 3 dB), and that gives quite a range that you can use perfectly for pop music. On the back, you'll still find switches that let you optimise the sound for its location in your studio. This new LP has the Second Wave technology on board that you also see on the IN series. So you get 3 dB more output and 12 dB less noise, which is a big improvement! There is a better DSP on board that reproduces better high frequencies. The build quality has also been improved; this V2 is simply a better studio monitor!
