Setting yourself up with good quality studio monitors can be a pricey business and the job of sorting the excellent from the mediocre can be a nightmare. What Kali Audio managed to prove with the first-gen LP Series is that you can get high-performance monitors at a price you would just never expect, making them the masters of the budget-range studio monitor game. But that was the first LP Series, and here, we're treated to the Second Wave - the next-generation LP (or Lone Pine) Series: fully upgraded, and even better ever.
The Kali Audio LP-6 V2
A 6.5 inch woofer has been teamed up with a 1 inch tweeter for a total frequency response of 47Hz to 21kHz (+/- 3dB) - a hefty range that effortlessly covers most popular genres. The rear control panel has been fitted with a small army of switches so that the output can be accurately calibrated to match with the studio space and positioning, and since this is the Second Wave, it boasts the same level of on-board tech as the IN Series. So, you're getting 3dBs of extra output and a 12dB noise reduction - an immense levelling up in terms of the overall performance. The build quality has also been raised to match, completing a comprehensive production and mixing partner.

Bax vroeg mij, letterlijk, een review te schrijven aangaande, komt -ie: “Kali Audio LP 6 W actieve studiomonitor (per stuk).” Stel, ik had last van humor, dan had ik zoiets kunnen zeggen als:”Per stuk klinken ze wel oké, maar ben toch blij dat ik twee stuks besteld heb.” Of: “Die linker klinkt nét iets lekkerder dan de rechter.”
Echter, het zijn serieuze tijden. Vandaar een dito verslag. Deze Kali’s klinken dus echt belachelijk goed. En voor dit geld hebben we het al helemaal nergens meer over. Echt fan-tas-tisch. Prachtig stereobeeld, mooie differentiatie van de frequentiegebieden. Bijna bizar oneerlijk dat ze heel erg veel beter klinken dan mijn oude, aanzienlijk duurdere (!) monitors. Veel eerder moeten doen. Absolute aanrader!

klinkt geweldig!
voor de prijs kan je nergens een betere prijs/kwaliteit vinden!
Ik heb deze gekocht omdat mijn een van Adam T5V stuk was gegaan en kon hem niet laten repareren (buiten gerantie en anders zou het 100euro kosten voor 3th party repair). Ik zocht naar nieuwe speaker rond de zelfde prijs en vond deze. en deze blazen the T5V om ver in alle opzichten behalve in de high end (tweater).
Zeker aan te raden in deze prijs klasse!

Cela fait maintenant 2 ans que je les ai, et j'en suis encore plus ravi que les premieres ecoutes.
Il ne faut pas se fier au prix.
Elles sont tout simplement redoutables, j'apprecie particulierement leur precision dans les aigues, et leur stereo que je n'avais encore jamais rencontre sur cette gamme de produit.
Elles sont simples, jolies, et sortent exactement le son que vous voulez entendre.
Les reglages a l'arriere sont un vrai plus et changent radicalement le son produit selon l'emplacement ! Les miennes sont couplees au caisson de basse WS12 de chez KALI egalement, et le spectre sonore est tres complet.
Point negatif : La mise en veille qui deconne completement. Vous etes en train de produire, et d'un coup l'une d'elle se met en veille... il faut attendre 10s pour qu'elle se reactive toute seule... Il faut vraiment travailler la dessus car c'est embetant !
En dehors de ce point negatif, je n'ai qu'une chose a dire : pour le prix, BRAVO KALI ! Je suis extremement satisfait !
