General

The Hercules DJMonitor 42 is an active set of studio monitors that take up little space and can be used for mixing, DJ-monitoring or just easy listening. The 4-inch woofer gives rich and tight bass that's ideal for beatmatching. If the low-end isn't quite punching enough or you need a little high-end, this can be adjusted using the bass and treble tone controls on the front of the master monitor, next to the convenient headphone port and an Aux-in to connect a phone or any other applicable audio gear. Round the back, an RCA port is fitted to connect a controller or mixer.

Wrote the following about Hercules DJMonitor 42 Active Studio Monitor (Set of 2)

Ik heb geen idee waarom deze speakers geen beoordeling hebben en waarom er zo weinig over ze te vinden is. Zou een "onbekend" merk de reden kunnen zijn? Hercules produceert kwaliteitsproducten tegen een leuke prijs en deze speakers zijn daar een duidelijk voorbeeld van. Ik heb deze speakers gekocht als studio monitoren, niet voor dj-en maar om te produceren en ze zijn echt heel erg goed. Je kunt het geluid aanpassen en bijstellen en ook de look is erg netjes. Ik heb deze samen met de Presonus E3.5 getest en deze bevielen mij een stuk beter. Ook het volume is erg goed te noemen. Het enige nadeel van deze speakers is dat ze geen balanced inputs hebben, maar of je die echt gaat missen in je kleine thuisstudio?
