The Kali Audio LP-UNF is a small set of studio monitors for producers who are in a small space, for example. You will often find producers learning the business at a young age, in their bedroom. In exactly such a location, the LP-UNF fully proves itself. In terms of audio, no complaints: some of the technology comes from the popular LP-6 and the Second Wave series, by Kali Audio. It has a 4.5-inch woofer, but make no mistake: Kali gets it deeper than you might expect. Looked at this way, despite its smaller woofer, it's an unexpectedly respectable set of monitors!

Connectors of the Kali Audio LP-UNF

Connections include TRS and RCA, so should you have a reasonable audio interface, you can use TRS cables to connect things directly. On the somewhat more inexpensive interfaces, you still sometimes see RCA connectors, so that can also be connected directly with an RCA cable. An interesting feature is the USB-C, which enables digital signal transmission, so you are immediately rid of analogue cable interference. Note that, in case of USB-C, the studio monitor actually operates as a USB-C audio interface (without inputs). Two audio interfaces are difficult to combine within the same computer. So the USB-C option should be seen as an easy way to quickly connect a laptop or phone to the LP-UNF, without using a conventional audio interface. Bluetooth is also possible, and is useful if you use the monitors in a domestic context, streaming music from your phone.
