Designed for musicians and producers working in a tight space, this pair of Kali Audio LP-UNF studio monitors bear compact dimensions yet deliver impressive, accurate audio that goes deeper than you'd think. These monitors feature the same technology as the popular Kali Audio LP-6 and Second Wave Series models, so the 4.5 inch woofer might be smaller than you'd want, but boasts more than enough range.

The Kali Audio LP-UNF Studio Monitors: Connected

This monitor set can be hooked up via TRS jacks or RCA plugs, which will be compatible with any good audio interface. A really interesting addition is the USB-C port, which support digital audio connection, immediately doing away with the risk of any analogue cable interference. Connected up via USB-C, these monitors act as a sort of audio interface without inputs, offering users a quick way to hook a phone or laptop up to the sound system without the need for an extra audio interface. Bluetooth connectivity also comes built in, so as well as a solid pair of mixing partners, these monitors can serve as a great, cable-free easy-listening system.

Wrote the following about Kali Audio LP-UNF Active Studio Monitors (Set of 2)

Very impressive set of speakers and exactly what I was looking for.
I don't mix but am a professional string arranger and remote session musician, so it's important that I can hear what I'm working on clearly and without too much colour. These speakers are billed as giving an immersive feel, and they certainly do that. I've never heard a set of near field monitors before that sound so clear.
Some other good points:
Front ported, so no problem mounting them in a tight space.
Very useful pre-programmed EQ options to compensate for various positioning scenarios. This really works.
Mute and volume controls on the FRONT! This is so obvious but plenty of manufacturers have stuff on the rear.
One gripe:
The interconnecting cable is too short. Yes, it's long enough to connect the two speakers at the distance they were designed for, but it'd be better if there was a bit more play in it. You can get hold of longer cables, but you have to buy them separately.

Klankkwaliteit van de speakers is ok. De capacitieve bediening voor volume werkt echter niet goed. Luider zetten gaat soms wel, stiller zetten gaat quasi niet. Ik stuurde hiervan een filmpje naar de helpdesk van Bax maar kreeg een antwoord terug dat totaal naast de kwestie was. Eerste en laatste aankoop bij Bax.
