General
The Audient iD14 MKII is the next logical and modernised step in the development of the iD Series. Just like before, this plucky and portable audio interface harbours the power of much bigger, studio-grade consoles. Bus-powered and given the upgrade of a USB-C interface, the high-performance iD14 is amazingly fast and even comes equipped with a talk-back microphone.
10-In + 6-Out + ADAT = Sublime Conversion
The iD14 MKII USB-C audio interface packs two superior microphone preamps that can also be found in bigger Audient-made consoles. The ASP8-24-HE chips ensure sublime conversion and the quality of sound you would only expect: ultra-clear and transparent. In addition, Audient have fitted an ADAT input so you can potentially expand the interface with eight more inputs, giving you the option to record an entire drum or a small band. Any purists may also be happy to learn that the iD14 even comes with a JFET-based instrument input for warmly saturated, tube-amp vibes.
Switching Two Pairs of Monitors
What's also great is that you can use the iD14 MKII to switch between two pairs of studio monitors, and there are extra line outputs so you can send your audio signal to an external headphone amplifier when recording an ensemble or full band. Speaking of headphones and amps, the second-generation iD14 has been loaded with two powerful amps to support two pairs of 600-Ohm headphones and, using the included software mixer, you can quickly whip up headphone mixes and play them back without any latency.

Excellent produit connecté à deux enceintes de monitoring.
Le rendu en puissance sonore est nettement constaté.
N’étant pas connaisseur en ingénierie du son, son utilisation est très simple et efficace.
Son prix est plus compétitif que d’autres produits équivalents plus plébiscités (boîtier rouge !!😋)
Point à améliorer : j’aurais apprécié que le câble de connexion fournie (USB-C), soit également fournie avec un câble en USB-A. Cela m’oblige à brancher un adapteur sur mon PC avec les risque de coupure son associé.

Ik heb ruim 10 jaar met een 1e generatie focusrite scarlett gewerkt. Die deed wat die moest doen. Ik vond dat het tijd was voor een uplpgrade en kwam na wat reviews te hebben gelezen uit op de audient id14. Wat een wereld van verschil. Hij klinkt heel transparant en helder. Misschien iets te helder voor sommige mensen. In vergelijking met de scarlett is deze aanzienlijk minder “warm”, maar heeft deze ook iets minder headroom waardoor je bij hoog volume wat distortion kan horen. Iets om rekening mee te houden. Verder is het een top apparaat.

interface, maar die had het begeven en moest dus op zoek naar iets anders. Nu heb ik gehoorapparaten en was telkens teleurgesteld in mijn interface als ik de gehoor apparaten in had, het geluid via die dingen was telkens belabberd vond ik, dus luisterde ik telkens zonder die dingen en pompte het volume wat op. Ik had de audient aangesloten en hoorde fantastisch geluid, ik zei tot mijn vriendin, kijk ik wou dat ik deze kwaliteit had MET mijn gehoorapparaten in, waarop mijn vriendin op mijn oren tikte en zei: je HEBT ZE IN, DRUILOOR! Ik was werkelijk door het dolle heen, wat een kwaliteit! Audient, voor mij DE OPLOSSING! Duizendmaal dank!

Heerlijke interface, werd getipt door vriend. Voor een project zocht ik een manier om een live microfoonmix uit te sturen naar 2 stereo outputs met daaroverheen een audiotrack (2 stuks), spoor 1 naar stereo output 1 en het andere spoor naar stereo output 2. Via routing en het programma reaper werkte dit als een zonnetje. Het was even uitzoeken hoe, maar het werkte via de Cue A + B knoppen.

Sinds vorige week eigenaar van de Audient iD14 MK2, Design is erg stijlvol en ziet er modern uit.
Mooie interface om te zien met een goede sterke behuizing en stevige rubbers aan de onderkant glijdt niet en staat heel stabiel, LED verlichting erg duidelijk en genoeg gain op de Interface ook.
Makkelijk aan te sluiten met de online software en genoeg outputs voor speakers & microfoon, Overall erg blij mee en makkelijk te gebruiken en aan te sluiten mooi design voor elke studio!
2 Minpuntjes : USB-C Kabel erg kort zelf een USB 3.0 - USB-C verloop gehaald
Gainknop ietsjes wiebelig

Op zoek naar een eenvoudige interface voor m'n homestudio, kwam ik deze Audient ID14 MKII tegen. Na het nodige wikken en wegen heb ik om de volgende redenen voor dit apparaat gekozen:
- optimale prijs-kwaliteitverhouding
- 2 goede kwaliteit microfoonvoorversterkers
- 8 extra inputs via ADAT (ideaal voor m'n asp800)
- 2 stereo (4 mono) line uitgangen voor 2 sets monitors (uniek in deze prijsklasse!)
- 2 koptelefoonuitgangen
- USB-C = meer power = betere prestaties
- looks + handig desktopmodel + fijne knoppen om als monitorcontroller te gebruiken
- op papier hele goede specificaties qua AD/DA en preamps
Nu, na een week ermee te hebben gewerkt, kan ik niet anders dan concluderen dat ie levert wat ie zegt dat ie levert.
Ik heb een, totaal niet wetenschappelijke, A/B test gedaan om de DA conversie te vergelijken met die van de RME Fireface UFX die ik gewend ben en vind de Audient zelfs marginaal iets prettiger/ronder klinken.
Over de drivers kan ik nog niks nuttigs zeggen. Sommige mensen schijnen de drivers niet stabiel te vinden, maar ik heb er gelukkig nog geen slechte ervaringen mee. De installatie ging makkelijk en in 1x goed en de monitorsoftware werkt intuitief.
Het enige minpunt dat ik tot nu heb weten te vinden is de stand van het volume bij het opstarten; deze staat niet meer zoals ie voor het laatst is achtergelaten. Dit kan verraderlijk zijn en ik hoop dus dat dit snel wordt opgelost in een volgende software-update.

Goede specs. Preamps zijn stil en hebben genoeg gain. AD-DA conversie is netjes. Software is zeer buggy net als de installatie en dit geeft weinig vertrouwen. Verder staat soms het volume voluit bij opstarten. Dit heeft me bijna mijn monitoren gekost. Inmiddels hou ik er rekening mee en draai ik even de encoder op en neer. Eigenlijk twijfel ik of ik deze wil houden. Het product is eigenlijk nog niet af.

Sinds kort ben ik de trotse bezitter van de Audient iD14 mkII. Na heel lang zoeken naar een geschikte professionele audio interface, die perfect past in mijn homestudio, vond ik deze geweldige Audient iD14 mkII. Niet alleen bezit de Audient over twee microfoon ingangen en 3 anloge aansluitingen, maar bezit deze compacte audio interface ook nog eens een keer een ADAT aansluiting om je van extra inputs te voorzien.
Verder beschikt de Audient over de geweldige ARC software met loopback functie. Al deze mogelijkheden in een duurzame, kwalitatieve en compacte behuizing; gebouwd als een tank. Het geluid dat uit deze interface komt is geweldig, en niet te spreken over de low latency. Al met al ben ik dik tevreden.
Gecombineerd met de scherpe prijs van Baxshop, goede service en de snelle levering, is de Audient iD14 mkII een ware aanrader. Dit apparaat past in elke studio en levert de gewenste kwaliteit. Al met al, een TOPPER!
Verder beschikt de Audient over de geweldige ARC software met loopback functie. Al deze mogelijkheden in een duurzame, kwalitatieve en compacte behuizing; gebouwd als een tank. Het geluid dat uit deze interface komt is geweldig, en niet te spreken over de low latency. Al met al ben ik dik tevreden.
