The Audient ASP800 microphone preamp will turn your recordings from mediocre to amazing. It's equipped with Audient's renowned console mic preamps and offers eight channels, Burr-Brown converter technology, two JFET Dis and two Retro channels with tone controls.

Retro channels

Another interesting feature of the ASP800 are its Retro Channels that enable you to add some colour to your sounds. Retro Channel 1 and 2 have two unique colour controls, the HMX and Iron, which simulate the well-known tube designs of the Sixties perfectly. They also let you add a whole new dimension to your music.

Wrote the following about Audient ASP800 microphone preamp

Fantastische pre-amp, vergeet de ada8000 (of 8200) en koop een ASP800. Open, Discreet, Heel veel gain en universeel inzetbaar van akoestische gitaar tot lompe thrash metal. Deze pre-amp brengt je eindelijk naar goede drumopnames. Uitstekende levering en service van de bax-shop, as always !

Prijs kwaliteit zijn geld meer dan waard!
Pré-amps zijn van zeer goede kwaliteit. Clean van sound maar met een open sound die de meeste budget pré-amps missen. De twee extra 'kleur' kanalen zijn vrij bruikbaar maar het blijft wel een lichte gimmick helaas. Uitstekende unit voor de rest.
