JBL’s Control 1 Pro (C1pro) is a set of passive monitor speakers with an astonishingly full, detailed sound. These passive speakers have a maximum power of 150 Watts and are just as perfect for your studio as they are for your home theatre or AV setup. Despite their modest size they can offer you a maximum SPL of 108 decibels, along with a wide frequency range and their two-way system is housed in a lightweight ABS cabinet that comes with clever mounting brackets.
Construction of the Control 1 Pro Passive Speaker System
These monitor speakers feature a 5.25-inch woofer and a 0.75-inch tweeter that work together to produce a detailed, balanced sound across the entire frequency range. Since the Control 1 Pro has a front-facing bass port, you'll have no fears of vibration leakage when placing it close to a wall - making it the perfect set of near-field monitors for smaller spaces.

De voorgangers hiervan waren na 30 jaar kapot. Fijn dat dit model er nog is. Goed geluid en klein van formaat. De bijpassende subwoofer doet het nog prima en deze speakers passen daar perfect bij. Prima advies gekregen ook bij Bax Music.

Prijs/kwaliteit zeer goede speakers. Zowel extreem hoge, als extreem diepe tonen worden helder en consistent weergegeven. Bovendien zijn ze gemakkelijk aan de muur te monteren met de meegeleverde beugels.

Mooi setje speakers. Niet te groot maar een mooi geluid. Ik gebruik ze wel in combinatie met een subwoofer. Hiervoor had ik ook JBL Control 1 speakers, maar na een jaar of 10 ging er eentje kraken. Blijkbaar houdt het schuim er op een gegeven moment mee op.
Dit model wordt gelukkig nog steeds gemaakt, en zijn een prima vervanging voor de vorige set.

Speakertjes waren op voorraad, volgende dag helemaal goed ontvangen in een niet overdreven grote doos (zoals wel eens gebeurt bij online bestellingen). Ze bevallen zeker, inderdaad zoals vaker gelezen zijn ze niet voor de lage tonen maar meer hoger en middengebied. Ik had ze hiervoor ook, de niet PRO, wat het verschil is zo door de jaren heen is wat onduidelijk maar zal niet groot zijn. 1 vd 2 oude speakertjes was de schuimrubber rand van vergaan en kraakte. Hiermee dus maar vervangen, zo duur zijn ze niet. Hopelijk gaan deze wel langer mee want dat weggooi spul ben ik opzich niet zo van.

Solide luidsprekers, neutrale strakke weergave. Lage tonen geen mirakels verwachten, daarvoor zijn ze te klein. Ik heb een subwoofer in combinatie, zeker aan te bevelen als je graag de onderste tonen wil beleven. Ze kunnen flink wat db's weergeven, in mijn muziekstudio komen ze zeker tot hun recht. Ik ben zeer tevreden.

Een super degelijke omhuizing en nog strak genoeg om op verschillende plekken in de woning te gebruiken. Een voordeel dat de magneet is afgeschermt zodat de TV of computer scherm geen storingen krijgt. Prima geluid voor seround speakers of gewoon als setje buiten. Ik heb ze onder de overkapping hangen voor zowel een gewoon muziekje als versterking van het tv geluid. Ze zijn niet gevoelig voor vocht waardoor ik ze in de zomer lekker buiten kan laten hangen. Voor deze prijs een mooi setje speakers.

Solide luidsprekerkastjes met een vol en stevig geluid. Ook de hoge tonen weergave is mooi transparant.
Gelet op de volledige kunststof behuizing, die overigens stevig en resonantie vrij is, zijn deze boxjes niet gevoelig voor vocht of een spatjes regen. Kortom een prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding.
