KRK speakers have built quite the reputation for themselves around the world. Many studios use a pair of these speakers with their characteristic yellow woofers. By far the brand's most famous line of speakers is the Rokit series. The G3 version now features a 4" woofer, making it the smallest model in the RP series, and a beautifully compact monitor for home producers. Compared to the G2 version, a number of things have changed, such as the redesigned front baffle and a more streamlined design for better projection and dispersion. KRK RP4 G3: streamlined design

There have been a few notable changes made to the G3's design. First of all, the screws that hold it together are no longer visible, giving the speaker a smooth and streamlined front. Secondly, the tweeter has been redesigned and the bass reflex port supports the woofer, for extra pressure in the low end. This port has rounded corners instead of the straight corners the G2 had, allowing for a more balanced reproduction of low frequencies, better dispersion and more flexibility as to where you place the monitor. On the bottom, the RP4 G3 features a neoprene coating that dampens resonance and keeps the monitor firmly in place.

A compact monitor for home producers

The KRK RP4 G3 allows you to boost high and low frequencies using a 4-way switch. You can attenuate the signal with up to 2 dB, or boost it by 1 dB. There are also plenty of options as far as the available connectors go, as it's equipped with RCA, XLR and jack connectors.
