Since Presonus knows a thing or two about how studio-sound needs to sound, the active R 65 studio reference monitor doesn't just offer a true representation of the mix, but makes sure you can actually hear the space and air within it. The lifelike audio reproduction is perfectly matched for high-resolution projects, while the fitted ribbon tweeter helps widen the stereo image and broaden the sweet spot when compared to more standard monitors. This feature doesn't just improve the audio performance, but ensures that you can work for hours on end without fear of listening fatigue.
The Presonus R 65: Air Motion Transformer (AMT)
The 6.8 squere-inch AMT tweeter has been made from a special ultralight material with an inlaid aluminium circuit that functions as the voice coil. The folded, concertina-style construction of the tweeter reacts like a bellow, literally launching sound into space, resulting in a far broader projection than more traditional dome tweeters. Since the system is also far more efficient, it boasts an extremely fast transient response, especially in the ultra-high frequencies, which is exactly why this monitor is able to reveal the space within the mix.
Transparent Sound
Presonus have teamed the high-performance tweeter up with a matching 6.5 inch woofer. Made from Kevlar, this woofer also boasts an incredibly fast audio response alongside balanced audio dispersion across the entire frequency spectrum. Driving it all is a powerful integrated digital amplifier with a maximum output of 150 Watts, and around the back, all of the necessary controls are provided for fine-tuning your monitor to match your mixing space, alongside a balanced XR and 6.35mm jack output and unbalanced RCA ports for connecting the monitor to an audio-interface or mixer.

De kwaliteit van het geluid wanneer je stevig muziek speelt of maakt is dan wel weer geweldig. Vandaar 1 ster.
Gelukkig ben ik vandaag bij Bax Shop geweest in Rotterdam en geweldig geholpen aan nieuwe goed werkende speakers van Adam Audio! Helemaal geweldig en nog iets goedkoper ook. Toppers daar bij Bax!
