General
In both look and sound, the Stylophone S1 is truly a blast from the past. Originally released in 1967, this instrument gained popularity quickly thanks to its characteristic analogue, almost nasal sound, its metal strip for a keyboard and its stylus controls. The Stylophone S1 is a Pocket Electronic Organ with a built-in speaker, and it works on 3 AA batteries. It also comes with a stylus that can be stored in the housing, and its 'keyboard' has 20 keys ranging from A to E, an octave and a half. Both gadget lovers and serious musicians will find plenty to like about the Stylophone, which is also incredibly affordable!
Stylophone S1: auxiliary input and voices
With its iconic '60s design, the Stylophone logo would not look out of place on the back of a classic car. Don't be fooled into thinking it's too old-fashioned, though, as the Stylophone S1 has received some contemporary updates. For instance, you can plug in a pair of headphones, and even play along to your favourite music using the aux input. Finally, the S1 features robust switches for Power, Vibrato and the selection of one of three available voices, as well as adjustable tuning.
