A 10" wooden frame, eight pairs of aluminium jingles and a carefully-selected goatskin drumhead combine to finish the high-quality TAH1A-AB tambourine from Meinl. Here, the jingles offer a solid dynamic range, while the traditional skin ensures a warm, subtle 'slap' when played using classic techniques.

Providing musicians with a professional percussion instrument, each jingle has been carefully shaped and tuned before it's fully approved for mounting onto the African-Brown finished frame. The batter head has also been extensively checked by hand and any imperfections are removed to ensure consistent performance and to provide comfortable playability and genre-spanning sound.
