General
Built using traditional materials, this 10 inch, wood-framed tambourine has been ringed with eight pairs of steel jingles and fitted with a high-quality goat hide batter head. The steel jingles have a relatively bright response as well as excellent projection while the head adds a subtle and warm slap when struck with the flat of the hand. Played with a beater, the Meinl TAH1AB tambourine has a slightly fiercer response.
Providing musicians with a professional percussion instrument, each jingle has been carefully shaped and tuned before it's fully approved for mounting onto the African-Brown finished frame. The batter head has also been extensively checked by hand and any imperfections are removed to ensure consistent performance and to provide comfortable playability and genre-spanning sound.

Ik heb vooralsnog dus nul-komma-nul techniek als het op tamboerijn spelen aankomt en deze tamboerijn vergt uitgebreide technische kennis om alle klanken te kunnen vinden en ook te temmen. Ik voel eerlijk gezegd een spanning in mijn rug als voorafgaande aan een hele leuke wedstrijd en mijn benen trillen licht, alhoewel ik zit.
Ik ben compleet onderdonderd door de hoge kwaliteit van deze tamboerijn. Ik hoop dat ik hem leer eer aan te doen.

Het is daarom geschikter voor kleinere ruimtes dan met een plastic vel.
De mooie houten aflevering geeft een extra gevoel van kwaliteit.
