General

The BT1415 timbale set is part of Meinl's Professional series. It consists of two timbales, measuring 14 and 15 inches in diameter and both feature Cuban-style flared-out bottom edges, giving them a unique sound. They are made of pure German B8 bronze, which has a beautiful brass colour while the tension rod brackets are made of a special brass alloy. The timbales have a warm, cutting sound that allows for ear-splitting rimshots.

Other Parts and Maintenance

Besides the two timbales themselves, the set also includes a height-adjustable tripod stand and cowbell bracket, an L-shaped tuning key and some Tune Up oil.
