A single-layer sheet with a thickness of 12 mil ! That's 20% thicker than regular single-ply sheets. This makes the fundamental tone and sound projection of your drums even better. The coating on the sheet gives an extra warm timbre and provides a more focused attack. Moreover, the thickness of the sheet provides extra durability, something you may be used to with double-layer sheets, but may have always missed with single-layer sheets. The G12 heads are especially suitable for music styles where stick definition is not of great importance, but where a warm, full sound with sufficient sustain is required.

• In mid-2019, Evans changed the logo on the sheets. It used to have 'Level 360' on it, which is no longer the case with the new sheets. The sheets with 'Level 360' on them are still in circulation, so you might receive one with or without that text. Otherwise, the sheet is completely the same. All sheets are still delivered in the old box, which will also be replaced at the end of 2019.
