General
The Evans TT18G14 18-inch G14 Clear Tom drumhead is a batter head that allows for a remarkably rich and aggressive sound. Furthermore, Evans managed to give this single-ply head a long lifespan, as well as impressive volume. To achieve this, they chose to use a single ply of 14-mil (0.36mm) film, instead of the usual 10-mil-thick heads. Finally, this clear model offers lengthy sustain and a beautifully bright sound.
