General

Remo is one of the top brands in drumheads. In the Emperor series of drumheads, Remo supplies the BE-0818-WS White Suede: a coated 18-inch floortom drumhead. The sheet is made of two layers of 7.5-mil film (Mylar). Thanks to this double layer, this drumhead is not only durable, but also delivers an extra warm sound.

Remo BE-0818-WS Emperor 18-inch White Suede drumhead:

Choosing a good drumhead is obviously important; after all, it determines the sound of your drum kit. Thanks to the double layer of Mylar, this drumhead sounds warmer than the clear version and has a good mid-range. Very suitable for floortoms with a percussive attack! The 18-inch coated Emperor White Suede drumhead is an excellent choice for both studio recordings and on stage.
