Travelling with a full size guitar can sometimes be a bit of a headache. Luckily, there are such things as travel guitars! This particular example is the LAG Guitars Tiki Uku 150 TKT150E and besides the more manageable, bite-sized form, it offers a few added treats. This fully qualified 6-string has the dimensions of a thinline tenor ukulele and comes with pre-installed Aquila nylon strings. The body has a solid spruce top for a bright, resonant tone that's packed out by the clear articulation and stability provided by the laminated sapele back and sides. While this instrument is played in the same way as a standard guitar, it's tuned in A for a higher pitched, lighter feel and even comes with an integrated tuner and a pre-amp for pure on-stage and studio sound.
