The LV-RAL-3G by Levante is an alto recorder made of maple, which is a wood type that offers a warm, full sound. Before the recorder was shaped, the wood spent a long time drying out in the open German air. Such a process ensures that the wood is sap-free for a more stable instrument. This recorder is tuned in the key of F, and has a German fingering system.
