The D'Addario PW-CT-21 Micro Clip-Free Tuner is simply and discreetly mounted on the back of the headstock of a guitar or bass so you can quickly tune up without having to mess with a clip - and without anyone even noticing that you're using a tuner. Ultra-compact, this tuner is simply screwed onto one of the machine heads, meaning that there's no need to drill any extra holes in the headstock, and once secured, the three-colour LCD display screen provides clear and fast feedback. This neat D'Addario design is easily controlled via the set of buttons fitted on top.

Wrote the following about D'Addario PW-CT-21 Micro Clip-Free Tuner Guitar/Bass

Zelf nog nooit een beter stemapparaat gehad als deze.

Echter is de clipfree bevestiging niet ideaal. De schroefjes waren net de lang voor mijn gitaren en/of bouzouki, waardoor ik bang was dat ik het hout net zou doorboren of de lak zou beschadigen aan de weerszijde van de montageplek.

In huis of de bouwmarkt kon zo snel geen andere schroefjes vinden die wel exact de juiste maat waren om dit probleem op te lossen.

De schroeven van het stemmechaniek zijn weer net te kort om dit systeem deugdelijk te bevestigen.

Persoonlijk zou ik de variant aanraden met de verstelbare klem.
