This comprehensive little desktop tuner doubles as both a training tool and instrument maintenance aid, since it not only offers tuning guidance, but a metronome, a built-in thermometer, and a hydrometer for keeping close check on humidity levels. The Fazley T-90 is essentially a musician's Swiss Army knife. The monitoring features help ensure that the sensitive wood of your instrument, whether it's a guitar or violin, is stored in the most optimum conditions, since if the temperature or humidity levels rise above or fall below the specified limit, it will emit an alarm message. The lowest and highest temperature levels are even recorded daily. The built-in metronome features an adjustable tempo of 30 to 250 beats-per-minute and offers nine different rhythms and ten different measures, while the tuner can be calibrated between 430Hz and 450Hz to accommodate less standard tunings.

I bought this to replace an earlier version of this which was just a metronome. It had a manual scroll wheel used both to adjust the tempo and, by pushing down on the wheel, as the start/pause switch. This meant you had to start the metronome clicking first and then adjust the tempo as starting or pausing the metronome always moved the tempo setting slightly.
It was also supposed to remember the current setting on power off but didn't.
Also, it eats batteries so if you wanted to have it plugged in all the time at home to save batteries, you to have to find a negative polarity AC/DC adapter, not as common as the positive polarity ones and as most come with a standard size power out plug which is too large for the power in socket on the metronome a convertor for the power in socket.
This new totally digital version is a vast improvement. The metronome is much easier to use.
Added to that having a built-in tuner and humidity monitor saves the need to take 3 bit of kit and 3 different spare batteries with you.
Finally, if you want to have it plugged in all the time at home to save batteries, you still have to find a negative polarity AC/DC adapter, but the metronome has a standard size power in socket.
All in all, a great product.

Waanzin aan deze prijs.
De waarden stemmen overeen met mijn andere temperatuur en vochtigheidsmeter. Dat alleen volstaat al bij deze prijs.
De andere mogelijkheden zijn een mooie toegift. De metronoom is handig maar wel heel streng qua klank. Ik moest gelijk aan mijn vroegere Notenleraar denken. Maar die leerde me toch wel wat.
Verder nog niet uitgetest, maar ik verwacht ook daar goede resultaten.

Is makkelijk te bedienen. Je hoeft geen handleiding te lezen.
Ideaal om op je bureau te zetten met de ingebouwde standaard.
Hygrometer is altijd goed om te hebben vooral als je gitaren hebt.
