The pair of turntables is based on the SL-1200, which is the model that set the bar in the club circuit. Pioneer gave these record players some noteworthy upgrades, including RCA connections and a pitch range of +/- 8%, +/- 16% and +/- 50%. The renowned DJM-900NXS2 mixer sits snugly between them, boasting a double audio interface, an improved effects section, and four reliable channels with a 3-band EQ and filter knobs for an intuitive workflow.

I have used Technics 1210's for around 20 years, and then I tried these. I love these decks! £275 cheaper than the technics and easily as good - I would say unless you're a hardcore turntablist who is a technics fanatic, you would probably love this deck too...

Wrote the following about Pioneer DJ PLX-1000 Turntable

Après 36 mois d'utilisation normal 20H par semaine et à la maison, il faut changer les pitchs, la peinture s'écaille sur de grande surface, n'aime pas le rumble donc les pieds ne font pas le boulot, et retour dans le bras.
Le socle du bras est dessoudé sur les deux pièces, problème avec le contre poids, sur les 3 platines,
Le moteur est un startaire, marge d'erreur au calage dépasse l'entendement après 18 mois.
Pioneer France fait la sourde oreille !
Rajoutez et aller du côte de Technics ! elles sont pas revendables, beaucoup de pièce sur l'occasion, cela veut bien dire qu'il y a un sérieux problème avec !

32j na mijn aankoop v mijn eerste 2 technics'en sl1200 was ik op zoek naar een extra nieuw mixmodel, hiervoor heb ik verschillende merken bestudeerd en uitgetest en ben ik uiteindelijk bij de plx-1000 terechtgekomen. deze draaitafel kan naar mijn bescheiden mening toch wel voet zetten naast de sl1200, met 1 pikant detail: de prijs, welke toch gevoelig lager ligt dan de technics (als je natuurlijk de promoots in de gaten hebt). ik was na amper 30 minuten plaatjes mixen al volledig overtuigd van deze platendraaier: robuust, stabiel en een heel goede correcte pitch. ik gebruik deze nu tussen mijn sl1200's en ben er heel tevreden van, of deze binnen 32j ook nog gaat spelen is natuurlijk iets anders...

Vroeger met de SL1200 gewerkt, dat was het dacht ik altijd.
Nou geef mij de pioneers maar.
Stukken goedkoper en zeker net zo goed zo niet beter.
Goede naalden gebruiken en je hebt gewoon een top product waar je zeker veel plezier van hebt.

Van Technics 1200 in 2012 overgestapt naar Pioneer CDJ's en nu net een PLX 1000 erbij gekocht voor mijn vinyl collectie en ben er tot nu toe zwaar tevreden over. Wist ook niet dat ze nog zo zwaar waren, alles werkt top, geluidskwaliteit is top. Ik heb nog niets gevionden wat niet goed werkt.

Exactly two months ago, Native Instruments announced that their Traktor Pro was finally compatible with the NXS2 series by Pioneer. Now, Serato DJ is following suit. That means the club standard, the DJM-900NXS2 DJ mixer with two CDJ-2000NXS2 tabletops, is compatible with the software by the three biggest DJ brands. Consider this an early Christmas present!

NXS2 Series by Pioneer Now Works with Traktor

Pioneer had already set the club standard with the CDJ-2000NXS2 and the DJM-900NXS2. There was just one little thing: you could only use Pioneer's own Rekordbox with it. But now, that's all changed. The mixer is now fully compatible with Native Instrument's Traktor Scratch Pro 2, enabling seamless integration with your DVS. What's more, you can operate your tabletops via the USB-HID with Traktor Pro 2, including loops, waveforms and track info.
