Pioneer PLX-1000 turntable

The turntables in this set have been modelled after the legendary Technics SL-1200. With the PLX-1000, Pioneer is aiming to fill the void that was created when Technics ceased the production of its cult-status turntable. Like its illustrious predecessor, the PLX-1000 lacks any unnecessary bells and whistles. Thanks to an S-shaped tone arm, the stylus sits securely in the groove while you're scratching, and the stylish blue LED lighting helps you out when you want to adjust the rotation speed of the turntable. The PLX-1000 expands on the pitch range of the SL-1200, offering +/-8%, +/-16% and +/-50% options. Other enhancements of the Pioneer turntable include a gold-plated RCA stereo output, a detachable power cable and a round start/stop button similar to the one on Pioneer's CDJ players.

Pioneer DJM-750 mixer

The heart of this hybrid DJ setup is provided by the four-channel DJM-750 DJ mixer. Turntables can be plugged in as easily as CD players, and the mixer can also function as an audio interface when you use it in combination with DJ software. The DJM-750 features a number of effects, including the familiar Sound Color FX and the Beat FX, which enable you to synchronise your effects with the BPM rate of your tracks. Each channel is equipped with three-part tone controls and with a trim knob, so you can match the volume levels of your sound sources and determine the timbre. The DJM-750 is also fitted with a booth output with volume control, which allows for easy monitoring. Both the channel faders and the crossfader have an adjustable curve, enabling you to adjust the mixer to your personal preferences.

HDJ-1500 headphones

These headphones are true precision instruments. The 50mm drivers reproduce the entire frequency spectrum with a remarkably low impedance and the comfortable ear pads fit neatly on your ears so you won't be bothered by ambient noise. The HDJ-1500s have a collapsible design which allows you to easily transport them in your DJ bag - take them wherever you go and you can always experience that familiar feel of your own favourite headphones.
