General

The Aquila 140U Thunderblack pack includes four bass ukulele strings finished in black and made using a unique production involving three different synthetic elastomers. The third and fourth strings have also been treated with an extra metal powder coating that increases the density and promotes a smoother feel under the fret-hand. This intelligent construction means that there's no need to make the strings any thicker to gain even more volume and sustain.
