General
The Diamond Head DU-350TCE Flamed Acacia is an electro-acoustic tenor ukulele for serious musicians. In order to ensure a good sound, the body was made of flamed acacia wood, which also has the added bonus of looking good too. The mahogany neck feels sturdy and plays light, and the body features a cutaway so you can easily reach the highest notes. Rugged guitar-style tuners ensure that the DU-350CTE is easy to tune and that it stays in tune too. Of course, this electro-acoustic uke is equipped with a pickup and a preamp with tone control, so you can hook it up to an amp and experiment with all kinds of sounds and styles.
Professional ukulele
The DU-350CTE by Diamond Head is made of high-quality materials, which is more than apparent when you see and hear the ukulele in real life. The entire body is constructed of flamed acacia wood for a nice, warm sound; a mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard completes the picture and ensures that the ukulele feels nice and sturdy, despite its small size. The high quality of this instrument and the fact that it can be amplified make it an ideal stage companion, and it even comes with a gig bag so you can transport it safely to and from events.

This is a fantastic Ukulele worth every penny of the retail price but at Bax price it was a no brainer.

Een klein minputje is de duur voordat het instrument goed gestemd blijft, maar dat is vaker het geval met nijlon snaren, neem ik dus wel voor lief. Tip hierbij is om de snaren in eerste instantie een stukje hoger te stemmen dan noodzakelijk, maar dat moet je aandurven ;-) De snaar knapt niet zomaar....
