Flight Art Series AUC-33 Wonderland concert ukulele with gig bag

General

With the Flight Art Series AUC-33 Wonderland, you’re bringing home a concert ukulele that’s sure to catch the eye. The top features a design by Daniela Hoffmann of UKUlala, a German ukulele school and design studio. Clouds, mushrooms, flowers and a soft rainbow come together to form a cheerful design, complete with floating musical notes. Behind that playful appearance lies a fully-fledged instrument with a laminated spruce top and a laminated mahogany back and sides. This combination produces a warm, powerful tone. So this Wonderland isn’t just a pleasure to look at, but is above all designed to be a joy to play.

Comfortable neck and meticulous finish

The African okoumé neck feels comfortable in the hand and is paired with a walnut fingerboard and bridge. You have 17 frets at your disposal, 14 of which are clear of the body. Position markers on the front and side of the fingerboard help you find the right position. The scale length is 384 millimetres and the nut is 35 millimetres wide. Flight has also opted for a bone nut and bridge saddle, rather than plastic ones. The Aquila Super Nylgut strings, arched back and gear-driven tuning machines complete the package. A strap button allows you to attach a strap.

Includes a gig bag and a musical starter kit

This concert ukulele comes with a Flight gig bag, so you can easily store and carry it. The bag has a 5-millimetre-thick lining and is fitted with handles and rucksack straps. The front pocket is ideal for storing small essentials. Your first steps on the instrument have also been taken into account: the included instruction booklet has eight pages and features chord diagrams, strumming patterns and chord progressions. This gives you some practice material straight away to get started. A Flight sticker pack completes the package. So you’ll receive one complete ukulele with practical extras for use at home, on the go or during your next music lesson.
