Built to leave a lasting impression, the Flight Royal Series Comet EQ-A tenor ukulele boasts an all-solid construction where the top has been carefully carved out of flamed maple while the back and sides are made of mango wood. The result is a clear foundation sound with note articulation to match, even when this high-end uke is plugged into an amplifier and the Double C1U active pickup takes over.

The Royal Series Comet: Stunningly Detailed

As evidenced by the scalloped cutaway, forearm contour and exquisite soundhole design, Flight have clearly paid a lot of attention to detail during the development of the Comet Tenor - and its considered, modern design isn't just for looks either as it also boosts the structural integrity of the resonance chamber. Finished with a 19-fret rosewood fretboard and a streamlined headstock, this Royal Series electro-acoustic ukulele is a more than dignified choice for pro-level players and, not surprisingly, comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.

Flight Royal Series Comet EQ-A Tenor Blue Electro-Acoustic Ukulele with Deluxe Gig Bag

I just love this uke. It’s has a lovely tone. It looks good. It’s much lighter in weight than I expected but it’s designed that way. Sounds good through an amp too.
Delivery was earlier than expected and I had it at a great price from Bax.
Overall very pleased.
