As tasty as the Islander MOT-4 mango wood tenor ukulele looks, it's only meant to be played and cherished as a sustainably-built little string instrument. Besides boasting both visual and sonic similarities with koa and mahogany, mango wood is an ecologically responsible solution for crafting instruments, which explains why Islander have been purposely using it to build solid-quality, authentic ukuleles for ages. As a tenor model, the MOT-4 comes with a slightly longer fretboard and a larger body to accommodate players with larger hands.
