This baritone ukulele is crafted entirely from solid acacia and finished with a glossy varnish, which not only gives it a luxurious look but also contributes to a sweet and beautifully balanced tone. Thanks to its baritone size, you’ll enjoy a fuller, deeper sound than with soprano, concert or tenor models. Handy: it comes with a padded Contour Series Deluxe gig bag for safe transport. This model does not have built-in electronics.

Comfort and finish

What immediately sets this Contour apart is its well-thought-out design. The contoured comfort edge ensures a comfortable playing position, especially during longer playing sessions or if you prefer to play standing up. The redesigned slotted headstock gives it a classic look and fits perfectly with the modern, clean lines of this series. In addition, the rosewood binding and the two-tone ‘eclipse’ rosette (maple/rosewood) create a sophisticated look with plenty of detail, without being too flashy. An instrument that looks just as good on stage as it sounds.

Playability and reliability

The neck is made of mahogany and feels solid and familiar, with an ebony fingerboard for a tight and direct playing feel. Attention has also been paid to the fundamentals: the nut and saddle are made of bone, which contributes to a clear response and good intonation. The truss rod is a great feature for adjustment and stability. It comes factory-strung with Aquila Super Nylgut strings, featuring wound D and G strings for a robust, well-defined baritone sound. In short: a serious baritone ukulele, complete with a luxury gig bag.
