Ziricote is a tropical type of wood harvested in Central-America and Mexico. As evidenced by the top and body of the Kala KA-PX-ZCT-T, this dark-brown wood boasts subtle yet stunning patterns that, in this case, combine nicely with the light-coloured maple bindings and spotless gloss finish. Meanwhile, full playing comfort is provided by the rounded edge of the body, and you can start playing right after unboxing this Kala-made uke since it comes with pre-installed D'Addario Clear Nylon strings rather than default factory strings that often need to be replaced first. To help you out some more, a padded Kala UB-T gig bag with accessory compartment and adjustable shoulder straps is included as well.
