General

The Kala Voyage Collection Hibiscus Mahogany Concert Ukulele is a wonderful example of how craftsmanship and artistic expression can reinforce each other. The body and neck are made of mahogany, wood that produces a warm, balanced sound with a rounded projection and pleasing resonance. The silk (satin) finish emphasises the natural beauty of the wood and gives the ukulele a refined, artisanal look. On the top surface is a laser engraving of a hibiscus flower, designed by Maori artist Sam Mangakahia. The hibiscus symbolises hospitality, friendship and joy, values that perfectly match the open, positive energy of this instrument and Hawaiian culture. The design makes the ukulele not only a musical instrument, but also an expressive piece of art with a personal story.

Clarity, volume and playing comfort

Thanks to its concert format, this ukulele offers a balanced mix of clarity, volume and playing comfort, ideal for beginners and advanced musicians alike. The Aquila Super Nylgut strings ensure stable tuning and beautifully bring the full, warm tone of the mahogany wood to life. The Kala Hibiscus Concert Ukulele comes with a matching gig bag and a card with the meaning behind the design and additional background information. An inspiring instrument that elegantly weaves together music, art and culture.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
