General

The SKB 3i case 1283x368x152 OD Gr is a robust hard case for the safe transport and storage of long and fragile equipment. The case is made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and is designed for intensive use, both on the move and on site. Thanks to its spacious internal dimensions (128.27 x 36.83 x 15.24 cm), it provides a sturdy base for transport, whilst the hard outer shell helps protect against knocks and rough handling during loading, unloading and travel.

Mil-Standard, water- and dust-proof

This iSeries case is gasket-sealed and fully water- and dust-proof, with a submersible design compliant with MIL-STD 810H. It is also resistant to corrosion and impact damage, as well as to UV, solvents and mould (MIL-STD 810H). The automatic pressure compensation valve (MIL-STD 810H) is useful in changing air pressure conditions, for example during transport by bus, aeroplane or at high altitudes. The temperature range is from -56.11 °C to 82.22 °C.

Practical to use and transport

In practice, you’ll particularly notice how easy it is to use: the Trigger Latch® System locks securely, whilst the moulded-in hinge ensures a solid construction. The padlock loops allow you to easily secure the case further with a padlock. The snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle fits comfortably in the hand, and thanks to the built-in wheels, you can easily roll this OD Green hard case across the stage, through warehouses or on location.
