General
The Samson Meteorite Mic USB microphone is the successor of the Samson Meteor. This condenser microphone can be used to directly record vocals or instruments onto your computer. It can also be used for Skype calls, YouTube recordings and podcasting. The detachable, magnetic base is a great plus point, as it allows you to position the Meteorite in various places.
Compact design
Although this unit is smaller than the Samson Meteorite, it definitely isn't inferior to it. The USB microphone is designed like a ball with the familiar, horizontal microphone openings. Both the microphone and its base have a durable chrome body. It contains a condenser capsule of 14 mm or 0.55 inches with a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz, which allows for high-quality, clear recordings.

Eenvoudig te installeren. Het kleine formaat is ook goed. Ik gebruik m voor online vergadering en ik vind echter het min stemgeluid voor de ontvanger blikkering klinken.

Wauw, echt goed. Ik gebruik de microfoon om in te zingen voor mijn koor en ik ga 'm ook gebruiken met het programma Jamulus. Het verschil tussen inzingen met mijn ingebouwde laptopmike en de meteorite is een verschil van dag en nacht. Te omschrijven als een vol en warm geluid, pikt nuances op. Naar mijn idee weinig opgepikte achtergrondruis. Aansluiten en je kunt meteen beginnen. En een mooie prijs. Ik ben fan!

Prima microfoon met een heel goede geluidsweergave. Hij is erg gevoelig, let daarom op de plaats waar je hem neerzet, te dicht bij bijvoorbeeld een ventilator van een laptop geeft geruis. Windows10 'ziet' deze microfoon direct maar heeft wel even tijd nodig om goed in te stellen, Ik had de eerste minuten last van een soort 'kraakruis', geen weergave van gewoon geluid. Maar na een aantal minuten kwam dat vanzelf in orde. De kracht van de magneet in de voet is niet zo groot waardoor het bolletje niet al te vast ligt.
