*Mobile devices like smartphones and tablets need to support the USB OTG protocol to guarantee optimum performance.
The ESD300 runs on the exFAT file system by default. Since some mobile devices only work with the FAT32 format, you may have to re-format your ESD300.
You can download additional software for backing up, restoring, encrypting and decrypting the drive via Transcend's website. The ESD300 is also fully compatible with cloud services for back-ups.
