Deze kabel is prima geschikt om er zelf een connector op te zetten.
Er bestaan ook kabels waarbij de setjes van 2 aders omgeven zijn door een folie wat dan de "massa" is.
Deze folie kun je niet solderen, en ook niet krimpen.
De HDM26 kabel heeft als massa-ader een extra koperdraad. Deze is prima te solderen of te krimpen!
