Taking the next logical step on from the Studio Camera 4K, the Design Studio Camera 4K 2 is an astoundingly comprehensive live-production camera, and due to the reduced weight and increased mobility, can serve as an outstanding roaming camera. The built-in battery has been removed, while the 10 inch LCD screen still provides a clean and clear view of the frame, no matter the location or lighting conditions thanks to the removable sun hood.
The Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens mount is compatible with many MFT lenses, and can be converted using adapters (not included) to fit a range of other lenses. Essential studio functions includes tally-indicators, XLR pots, and talkback functions, as well as 12G-SDI inputs and ouputs, and a slot for an external module (sold separately) for fibreoptic connection.

The Full Resolution Spectrum & Professional Functions

The Studio Camera 4K 2 covers the full resolution spectrum, from HD to Ultra-HD in 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60 fps. 10-bit 4:2:2 video can be exported to ensure maximum quality and outstanding colour reproduction via the 12G-SDI output, and a headphone output and LANC port have also been fitted while the XLR audio inputs supply phantom power. All of these connection options are usually only offered by cameras that come at a far heftier price, and can be found either side of the camera body. Add this to features like the talkback function that accommodates efficient communication during the shoot, and you have a professional, studio-grade camera. The Studio Camera 4K 2 is powered via a 4-pin XLR port using the included power supply.
