General

Want to capture and then play back video in ultra-HD quality? What you need is the Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro 4K. This capture-and-playback PCI-e card packs the same features as the 'standard' Intensity Pro, the only difference being that the 4K version supports ultra-HD video at 30 fps and full HD (1080p) video at 60 fps. Using the included Media Express software, it's possible to capture and record HDMI, YUV, S-video and NTSC/PAL source signals to your computer in either compressed or uncompressed form, but the Intensity Pro 4K also helps you assess image quality and make tiny colour corrections on high-res displays or live-stream video-game walk-throughs, events, webcasts and video calls with high frame rates in 10-bit YUV quality with matching colour depth.

Seamless Software Integration & Compatibility

There's a long list of compatible software packs out there that support the Intensity Pro 4K. To name more than a few: DaVinci Resole, Final Cut Pro X, Media Composer, Premiere Pro, Fusion, After Effects, Photoshop ProTools, Resolume, Nuendo, Flash Media Live Encoder and ProCaster. Using any of these programs, it's possible to capture video in ProRES, DNxHD and QuickTime formats with the support of the included software. To finish, the Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro 4K is compatible with x4, x8 and x16 PCI-e slots and its HDMI connections can be toggled between SD, HD and Ultra-HD while any component analogue connections come with the option of SD-HD switching.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 1-year warranty.
