Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini - Optical to HDMI 12G

General

With the Teranex Mini, optical 12G and 12G-SDI input signals are easily converted to HDMI. This professional Blackmagic Design converter supports HDMI resolutions up to 4K DCI 4096x2160p and features an optical input that can be looped via the fitted optical Loop-Out port, as well as a 12G-SDI input. XLR inputs and digital AES/EBU audio outputs enable separate audio processing, and since the Teranex Mini works with high quality video processing technology, this is the ideal tool for broadcasting studios as well as post-production studios and other audiovisual applications.

Intuitive Control & Flexibility

To gain more detailed monitoring, the control panel of the Teranex Mini can be replaced with the compatible Smart Panel (not included), which adds a full-colour LCD screen so both the video and audio signals can be read and the time code and converted video standard can be monitored in detail. Even without a Smart Panel, the mini-switches of the standard front panel support intuitive setting adjustments. Thanks to a crossflow cooling system, this converter also works in near-silence, even when multiple units are mounted in a 19 inch rack, and just in case, the control software automatically warns of overheating via the front panel.
