Firstly, the manual slider of the rapid feeder does not move slides accurately under the lens, so that one has to take the feeder out of the reader and re-position the slide. This is a nuisance which means that the speed of operation is vastly reduced. Secondly the slides look OK in the preview window but when transferred to the PC the color quality is poor; there is a pink cast to the picture which cannot be removed without a lot of 'Photoshopping', meaning, I suppose, that the white balance is inaccurate. Black/white reproduction is fine, but that's a bit out of date in 2015! Only two cheers I'm afraid - I guess one gets what one pays for .......
