General
The Stentor SR1505L Student II 12-inch is an excellent starting point for young violists. This children’s viola is crafted from solid, hand-carved tonewoods: the top is made of spruce, whilst the back, sides and neck are made of maple. Thanks to this choice of wood, the viola produces a responsive and warm tone. The ebony fingerboard, tuning pegs, nut and bridge, combined with flexible European strings and a composite tailpiece with fine tuners, ensure reliability and playing comfort. It comes with a good-quality student bow, made of wood and fitted with natural horsehair and an ebony ferrule. The lightweight case – including a cover with reflectors and space for accessories and two bows – completes the set. Ideal for beginner players who are serious about making progress.
