General
The Stentor SR1551P Conservatoire 15-inch (3/4) viola is an excellent choice for the advanced player or as the next step up for ambitious students. This viola stands out thanks to its meticulously crafted spruce top and maple back and sides, both hand-carved for optimal tone and playing comfort. The traditional Shellax™ varnish protects the wood and gives the instrument a warm appearance. Thanks to the ebony fingerboard, tuning pegs and fine inlay, you can count on years of reliability. The set comes complete with a high-quality wooden bow (fitted with white horsehair and an ebony ferrule), a set of synthetic strings, quality rosin and a luxury case set with a carrying strap, music compartment and integrated hygrometer.
