General
The Stentor SR1866P Messina 15-inch (3/4) viola is a fine example of traditional craftsmanship from Stentor’s Pro Series. This viola is handcrafted in a specialist workshop within the Stentor factory, where skilled craftsmen, under the guidance of a master luthier, oversee every stage of the process. The SR1866P combines a solid spruce top with a beautifully flamed maple back, sides and neck. The traditional shellac finish provides a lovely sheen and a resonant tone. Professional Pirastro strings, an ebony fingerboard and tuning pegs, and beautiful inlaid purfling complete the instrument. Stentor delivers every Messina individually adjusted and ready to play.
