The Jargar Superior 4/4 medium tension viola string set is designed for violists who do not wish to compromise on tone, projection and playing comfort. This set combines the bright and powerful sound of synthetic strings with the warm, sweet tone of gut strings, resulting in a wide range of timbres. Each string is carefully crafted: the A string has a chrome steel core, whilst the D, G and C strings combine a synthetic core with silver windings or a mix of tungsten and silver. This gives you a quick response, a smooth feel and perfect balance across all registers. The strings are ideal for orchestral and chamber music, but also for the soloist who demands the very best from their instrument. Manufactured in Europe, drawing on a rich tradition combined with modern innovation.
