General
If you want to experiment with the sound of your bass clarinet, the Vandoren PP24 leather pressure plates are for you. You can place these plates on the LC24P ligature from the same manufacturer. Each plate has its own influence on the timbre. One will make your sound slightly darker, the other smoother. What you can be sure of is that the pressure plates enable you to put more expression into every sound. The leather not only gives these pressure plates a beautiful look, but it also makes them durable.
