It consists of a handheld microphone as well as a lavalier, which means you'll always have the right optimal mic on hand for any given situation. If you're the one talking, and you need your hands free, then the ME 2 lavalier mic is ideal. If you're conducting an interview, then the SKM AVX handheld mic with MMD 42 capsule is the perfect tool.

Features of the AVX Combo Set 3

The set comes with an ultra-compact EKP AVX receiver with a rotating body and an XLR to mini jack adapter cable. The receiver switches on and off automatically in correspondence with your camera.

Streamline your workflow

Sennheiser are aware that when you're in the middle of a broadcast or interview, you don't have time to tweak settings. All the AVX products take a lot of work out of your hands. The transmitters and receivers can be operated by the touch of a button, and the sensitivity is adjusted to perfection automatically. What's more, AVX operates on the license-free 1.9kHz band, which means your signal won't be affected by interference caused by mobile phones, WiFi, Bluetooth devices and microwaves. Thanks to a 24-bit / 48kHz resolution, you'll have studio-quality at your disposal, no matter where you are. In terms of batteries for the AVX product range, you won't need cumbersome chargers, as the BA 10 and BA 30 batteries can be charged via their own micro USB port. This means you can use the included adapter, another standard USB charger, or even your computer's USB port.

Zeer prettige en gebruiksvriendelijke microfoonset.
Na het opladen van de accu's kon ik de ontvanger makkelijk aansluiten op mijn camera. En koppelen aan de microfoon door op pair te drukken. Er is weinig technische kennis nodig.

Intussen een dertig-tal keer gebruikt voor audio captatie op afstanden tussen de 15 en 30 meter. Heel betrouwbaar en stabiel, zeer degelijke kwaliteit. Koppelen gaat heel vlot. Zenders gaan uren mee, ganse dag geen probleem. Ontvanger slechts een goed uur maar je kan m voeden met USB of meerdere batterijen voorzien. (Kan aan/uit gezet worden door phantop power maar wordt niet gepowerd door phantop power!)

Als aanvulling op mijn Sennheiser EW100 G3 setje gekocht. Zoals verwacht mag worden van Sennheiser is het van zeer degelijke kwaliteit (een geruststellende gedachte als je ziet hoe mensen omgaan met een beltpack). Groot voordeel tov van het EW100 setje is dat je geen kwetsbare antenne meer hebt en het over de 2.4 Ghz band gaat, zodat je nooit gedoe hebt met het wisselende vrije frequentie bereik of storingen. Voor de rest is het plug-and-play en werkt alles naar verwachting. De lavalier is niet van topniveau, maar voldoet. Mijn enige zorg vooraf was het feit dat het setje werkt met accu's die je oplaadt, ipv losse batterijen, en je dus geen reserve mee kan nemen tijdens een draaidag. De accu's zijn echter vervangbaar, dus je kan hier ook een reserve setje voor kopen. En daarnaast gaan ze lang genoeg mee voor een doorsnee draaidag, dus ik zou deze zonder twijfel aanraden!

Har använt Sennheiser AVX sedan än längre tid och vill verkligen rekommendera systemet. Oftast är man ensam ute på Video-uppdrag utan ljudtekniker och ljudet kan bli bedrövligt. AVX systemet reglerar ljudnivån väldigt bra att man kan helt koncentrera sig på filmningen istället.
