Both microphones deliver up to 20 hours of performance time on two AA batteries, and the system operates using the license-free 2.4GHz frequency band. This simple yet high-quality wireless vocal pack is smoothly and easily set up, making it perfect for performers and speakers that prefer to control their own sound. Clear sound and decent mics. Either doesn't seem to have a great range or can't handle volume as they cut in and out
