The headphones are equipped with Qualcomm aptX technology that ensures you can enjoy CD-quality sound via Bluetooth regardless of whether you're listening on an Android device, an iOS device, a Windows computer or a Mac. Two different codec options (AAC and SBC) give you optimal results depending on your sound source. AAC takes care of iOS devices and others, while SBC is universally compatible and takes over when aptX and AAC are not supported.

For professional applications or gaming that demands zero latency, it's best to use the cable that comes with V-Moda's Crossfade 2 Wireless Codex Edition headphones. The transparent sound ensures that you'll hear the audio exactly the way it was intended. The double-diaphragm 50 mm drivers are Hi-Res certified by the Japan Audio Society and have an impressive frequency range of 5 Hz to 40 kHz.
Comfortable and robust design
The Codex Edition headphones have the same ergonomic memory foam ear pads as their predecessor and along with the SteelFlex headband, optimal comfort is assured for anyone who wears them. The headphones produce immersive 3D sound with clean, deep bass, a vivid midrange and clear trebles. There's a built-in microphone so that you can take calls and the on-board battery lasts up to 14 hours on a single charge. When you're not wearing them, the headphones fold up and can be carried safely in the included case.
