General
The wireless Samson Stage XPD1 Headset microphone sends its signal directly to your PC, Mac, iPad (see tips) or Samson Expedition system (with USB Wireless). All you need for the Samson Stage XP1 Headset are two AA batteries, which are placed in the PXD1 beltpack transmitter. The RXD1 USB receiver is connected to your computer or a suitable Expedition set via a USB port. Connecting and setting up the microphone as an audio device in your audio software is easy as pie and takes up hardly any time.
XPD1 Headset: applications and range
The XPD1 Headset can be used for a variety of applications - in combination with the before mentioned Samson audio sets you can create a highly affordable PA set with wireless headset. Furthermore, this microphone is ideal for recording YouTube videos, in which you can move about, while you are talking. Thanks to the use of the 2.4GHz frequency band you can use the headset legally and without any fuss, all over the world! A range of up to 30 metres lets you move quite far away from your computer or Expedition set, while still talking.
