You can't get much more wireless than the Samson Airline 88 AW8 wireless microphone. It has a built-in transmitter, so all you have to do is attach it to your wind instrument; there's no need for an additional beltpack! The microphone is suitable for trumpet, saxophone, trombone, french horn, and sousaphone. Thanks to this mic's supercardioid directional characteristics, the AW8 will only capture your instrument in the most transparent way possible at an impressive 130 dB SPL. The internal Li-ion battery will last about 8 hours and can be recharged using the included USB charger. It also comes with the CR88 receiver, which was also included in earlier Airline 88 mic sets. The 88 AW8 set comes complete with a rack mount kit, USB charger, and windshield.
