The Jam Block was designed as the modern version of the classic wood block by Latin Percussion, a famous American percussion manufacturer. These percussion instruments are made of a highly durable synthetic material of LP's own design: Jenigor. This particular model, the blue LP1205, is also made of Jenigor, so that it can withstand even the heaviest hitters.

The LP1205 Jam Block

This high-pitched Latin Percussion Jam block is tuned a step higher than the LP1207 (medium pitch), yet it has a lower pitch then the LP1204 Piccolo Jam Block. Nigh indestructible, the Jam Block is an excellent-sounding percussion instrument that is great for any percussionists, whether they're pros or amateurs.
